Climate Voices logo

SciEd welcomes the Climate Voices project to their team. This important outreach project, which is jointly funded by UCAR and the United Nations Foundation, with additional support from the NSF Paleoclimate Program, is an excellent fit for SciEd’s public education mission. 

AWG Workshop

In July, eight Colorado middle and high school teachers joined the UCAR Center for Science Education (SciEd) for a month-long teacher workshop on the impacts of oil and gas development. 

GISN in the field.

The GLOBE International Scientist Network (GISN) has nearly doubled in the past year! The GISN is an international network of scientists who work with GLOBE students around the world.

National Water Center Grand Opening

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the grand opening of the new National Water Center (NWC) took place on May 26, 2015. 

Scott Rayder, Senior Advisor to President of UCAR, and Bill Kuo, COSMIC Director, visited several institutions in Taiwan on 4-5 March 2015 to discuss various collaborative projects.
